A Division of Allen Conservatory of Dance
We are excited to announce the formation of a new performing dance company based here in the Allen Conservatory of Dance. Elysian Dance Company is geared towards offering greater performance opportunities to dancers wishing to broaden their dance education beyond classes and recitals. We are proud of our students and we want to share their gifts with as large an audience as possible!
Auditions
When: August 17, 2024
3:00-4:00 pm Senior Company
4:00-5:00 pm Junior Company
Where: The Allen Conservatory of Dance
Attire: All black, form fitting (top with shorts or leggings), hair secured away from face. Footwear – socks, jazz shoes, half shoes or barefoot.
Cost: $10
Senior Company – ages 13-19 (experience level is a key factor)
2024-2025 Season Requirements
2 Ballet classes/week
1 Jazz/Contemporary class/week
1 Ensemble rehearsal/week
1 Convention (optional) dates and entry fees tba
2 Competitions dates and entry fees tba
1 Community Event date tba
Cost of Ensemble costumes (will not exceed $100 per costume)
Junior Company – ages 9-12 (experience level is a major factor)
